Awaken your mind! The 3rd and final installment of the MindCandy trilogy brings 40 of the greatest PC demos (real-time computer animated music videos) of the years 2003-2010 to your (HD)TV on both Blu-ray (1280×720, 60 fps) and DVD.

MindCandy 3 takes these poetic programs of the computer world to the next level: Each of the demos has been optimized scene by scene or even rewritten just for MindCandy (thanks to ryg, Haujobb, Satori, Cubic Team) in order to achieve perfectly smooth 60 frames per second in a mind-blowing "better-than-realtime" visual quality on HD video. It will push the limits of your Blu-ray player and TV with its spectacular audio-visual effects. MindCandy 3 is a best-of-the-best look at what imaginative amateur programmers, musicians and graphic artists can do with an off-the-shelf personal computer. The demos produced are often shown at parties throughout Europe, and are created to exploit all of the PCs technical possibilities to the max while impressing the audience.

Content

Each MindCandy 3 box contains both discs, DVD and Blu-ray. The main content is included on both of them:

• Main feature in 16:9 widescreen and 60 frames/s, about 3.5 h runtime: 40 of the greatest PC demos of the years 2003-2010 polished to a high gloss
• additional audio track: 1st hand background stories, spoken commentary from the demos’ creators and the MindCandy producer
• multi-language subtitles for demo commentary: English, French, Spanish, German

The 12-page full color booklet introduces the included demos and what makes them special.

Difference DVD / Blu-ray

Both discs share the main feature, as mentioned before. Next to the brilliant HD video quality (1280x720 in 60 progressive frames/s) the Blu-ray contains more than 7 hours of extra footage, while the included cut-down DVD version allows playback on older systems as well.
