You should read this one first. It covers topics like setup and
sequencer-integration, registration, user interface, drag & drop, all details of
the Small View incl. Instruments Pool and Import Window, loading a soundlibrary,
importing further instruments, assigning instruments to MIDI channels and
individual audio outputs, recommended working methods, important settings,
optimizing performance, some digital audio basics, and some general tips about
optimizing the PC for audio processing and software samplers.
VSamplers integrated context sensitive help (english or german, depending
on your GUI setting):
For every control element and every area of the GUI, VSampler offers context
sensitive help (for questions like "what does that checkbox do?"). To get help,
click the question mark in the VSampler title bar: A little question mark is now
attached to your mouse pointer. Then click on the control element that you want
help with. You can access the entire help file by opening the “Help” menu or by
pressing the “F1” key. In order to search the help file for a particular word,
click on the “Index” tab and enter the first letters of the word you’re looking
for.
